Candid Camera Favors
Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and one that you would love to have recorded in detail. Your photographer will take many photos, of course, but he or she cannot be everywhere at once.
Why not combine your desire for photos with your need for wedding favors and use wedding favor cameras?
Wedding Favor Camera Description
A wedding favor camera is not the same as the bright yellow and red disposable cameras displayed in grocery and convenience stores. A wedding favor camera is disposable, but is available in a wide variety of colors and themes to match your wedding reception perfectly. It comes wrapped in clear cello and a tent card with instructions.
Colors
Ten of the many wedding favor camera designs we have seen are:
1. Silver lace on white
2. Gold lace on white
3. Silver bells on white
4. Purple butterflies on white
5. Seashells on pale blue
6. Gold bride and groom on white
7. Colored stripes on white
8. Daisies on white
9. Pink roses on white
10. Solid colors such as lavender, pink, blue, gold, silver, white
There is a wedding favor camera to match any wedding theme, any color scheme.
How to Use Wedding Favor Cameras
Wedding favor cameras are not an individual favor. One camera is placed on each table, with extras at the juice or cocktail bar. Beside each camera, place its accompanying tent card with instructions. No other favors are used.
Instructions on the wedding favor camera cards ask guests to help you capture memorable moments by taking pictures of anything they might think would make good memories for you. Instructions go on to request that each wedding favor camera be left on the table when guests depart. The cards end with a word of thanks, such as “Thank you for helping to make our day spectacular.”
Throughout the reception, guests at a table share the wedding favor camera, taking pictures of you, of each other, or of anything that happens that they want to record for you.
Features of Wedding Favor Cameras
Most wedding favor cameras we have seen have the following standard features.
* Holds ISO 400 film, which will work in all light conditions
* Takes twenty-seven 35 mm color photos
* Simple point and shoot, with no need to focus
* Optical viewfinder and fixed focus lens
* Automatic flash is built in
* Good for about 18 months, so you can safely buy ahead
* Batteries are included in each
Cost of Wedding Favor Cameras
Wedding favor cameras cost around $6.50 apiece, but when you consider that each will be shared by 6 to 8 guests, the price is no more than other wedding favors.
Complete with flash, wedding favor cameras are perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. Whether your reception is in a hotel hall or on the beach, the cameras will provide both fun and memories.
Advantages of Wedding Favor Cameras
Give your guests an opportunity to play “Candid Cameraman” and they will be delighted to participate. Their only complaint may be that they can’t take enough pictures with the camera on their table!
