Flowers as Wedding Favors
While WEDDING FAVORS may be one of the simplest parts of planning a wedding, they can also be the part which is often left until the last minute. Many options now exist to fit almost any budget and even timescale if you are in a hurry. With this in mind, it should be one less item you have to worry about for your big day because your favors might just be a phone call away.
Flowers are always a favorite easy wedding favor and also so simple to arrange and then set up on the day. Owing to the nature of flowers, they can usually be left until later in the preparations which means the bride and groom will have less to worry about.
A symbol of love, the red rose is one of the more popular choices and they do not require much preparation. You can simply purchase one for each guest and have a member of the catering staff, a friend or family member place one rose across each place setting after the tables have been set for the wedding reception.
Unfortunately flowers do no appeal to everyone, but with three in every four receptions using candy, this is an easy wedding favor that will. Some people now use a more convenient way to present candy to their guests. This method has been taken from an idea used by families at Christmas and uses a large glass bowl filled with different types of candy.
To complete this idea, a small plain bag or carton can be left for each wedding guest to put their candy into. This really is easy because each guest can choose whatever candy they like and there isn’t a single piece of wrapping in sight.
Pictures frames can also work well especially if they are used as place card holders. If you intend to use picture frames as your WEDDING FAVORS there is a way that you can present them to your guests without have to wrap them! By using the picture frames as placeholders provides a way around this, making it a gift that does not need to be wrapped.
An easy wedding favor that might appeal is to have the photographer take a digital picture of each guest and then present it to them at the wedding reception as they arrive. All the photographer needs to do is to have a printer with him so he can give each guest their photo before they leave later in the day. This is a great idea for a wedding favor because your guests will likely be dressed up and will appreciate the opportunity to pose for a professional photo. It would also be nice if the photographer could bring along a digital projector so all the photos he had taken of the guests could then be shown on a screen during the reception meal.
